Transformation by the Word
The other day, my friend said that I am a very open and people person, and I began to think of the times when I grew up and was very introverted; I was too scared to face the crowd and all. My shift in personality can only be attributed to an understanding of God's perfect love. I used to think that no one wanted to hear what I had to say and my words were irrelevant, but then God put me in places of leadership to correct those notions. As I read the bible and became Intune to what God wants for His Children, I began to realize that a life of mediocrity isn't what God wanted for me. I am constantly reminded that things will not always work as I want them to. Lol, but I digressed when my friend said that I began to see the shift from who I was before to someone who wants to leave her comfort zone and be better to carry out the works of the Kingdom. It is in the place of readiness that God begins to work in and through us. Do I have times I feel inadequate? Yes, a lot! But I draw my strength from the Word of God. Literally, Eph 2:16 say, "I will empower you with inner strength through the Holy Spirit" NLT. It is on the Word of God that transformation begins to happen, and we are all running the race to perfection with the help of the Holy Spirit.
In closing, I encourage anyone reading this to study Eph 2:14-21 in NLT or TPT; very powerful. And when you feel inadequate, go back to the Word. There lies my source, and can yours too if you let the leading of the Spirit of God. If I may, it is because of the Word; I can fake it to make it, lol.
