The Act of Speaking

We have often heard about having a positive mindset or speaking what you want into existence. It makes no sense to some extent or form since the evidence of the results coming your way cannot be seen. I have currently come to learn and realize how powerful it is to speak, so let's look at the scriptures.

In the beginning, God created heaven and the earth by speaking words into existence, and all things made came to being. One thing I also realize is the specificity of what he said. Even God, in all his sovereignty, addressed the issue directly Gen 1

another example is Ezekiel speaking to dry bones, according to the word of God. God had given a prophetic message to Ezekiel, and we see that those dry bones came to life. Eze 31

Here we see that speaking isn't the issue; it is the power backing the words that allow for a manifestation. Recently, I decided to do something unique by speaking to myself in the mirror and using the word of God with the understanding I have. As simple as it may seem, I saw a shift in my thinking (daily renewal of your mind). This gave me confidence because I knew that the word of God was backing the words of my mouth. Therefore, speaking is backed up with faith, activating God's word.

In the end, I believe that this is the life Gods desires of us; to trust Him and His word so much that we let them manifest in our lives.
